Accepting these terms
These terms are a binding agreement between you and Kiso Technologies Private Limited, covering the MyFriend app and myfriendapp.live. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not, please do not use MyFriend.
By signing up you confirm you are an adult, that the verification selfie is of yourself, and that no law applying to you bars you from using a service like this.
Your account
- One account per person. Accounts cannot be sold, shared or transferred.
- Register with a phone number you control. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
- Give accurate information. Impersonating someone, using another person's photos, or faking your age or gender leads to a permanent ban.
- Tell us at info@myfriendapp.live if you think someone else has accessed your account.
How you must behave
Our community guidelines form part of these terms and set this out in detail. In short, you must not use MyFriend to:
- Share sexual content or nudity, or solicit sex or paid companionship.
- Harass, threaten, stalk or demean anyone, including on the basis of gender, caste, religion or region.
- Involve or seek anyone under 18 in any sexual context. This brings an immediate permanent ban and a report to the authorities.
- Record, screenshot or circulate another person's voice, calls or images without consent.
- Ask users for money, run investment, loan or job scams, or promote gambling.
- Post unlawful, hateful or violent content, or anything infringing someone else's rights.
- Use bots, emulators, modified clients or automation, or attempt to reverse engineer the app.
- Buy, sell or farm coins outside the official in-app purchase flow.
Coins, purchases and host payouts
Coins are a limited, revocable licence to use features inside MyFriend. They are not money, not a deposit and not a stored-value instrument. They have no cash value outside the app and cannot be transferred between accounts.
- Rates for calls and gifts are shown in the app and may change with notice. Coins already purchased are not revalued.
- Purchases go through Google Play or our listed payment partner, whose terms also apply.
- Coins do not expire while your account is active, but are forfeited if the account is deleted or banned.
- Refunds are covered by our refund and coins policy.
Hosts
Verified hosts can convert gifts received into payouts at the published rate, subject to a minimum threshold, bank and PAN verification, and deduction of applicable taxes and TDS. Payouts are withheld where we reasonably suspect fraud, coin farming or guideline breaches. Hosting does not make you our employee, agent or partner.
Moderation, suspension and bans
We may review reported content, run automated safety checks on live rooms, remove content, limit features, suspend or permanently ban an account where we reasonably believe these terms or the guidelines have been broken, or where it is needed to protect users.
Where practical we tell you which rule was broken and give you 30 days to appeal by writing to info@myfriendapp.live. For severe breaches — child safety, non-consensual imagery, credible threats — we act immediately and without notice, and unused coins are forfeited.
Content and ownership
You keep ownership of what you say, write and upload. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, transmit and display that content for the purpose of operating and moderating MyFriend, and to keep safety records as described in the privacy policy. The licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies retained for legal or safety reasons.
The MyFriend name, logo, app design and software belong to us. You may not copy, modify or create derivative works from them.
What we do not promise
MyFriend connects adults who choose to talk to each other. We verify identity and moderate actively, but we do not run background checks and we cannot guarantee anyone's honesty or intentions. You interact with other users at your own risk. Never share bank details, OTPs, your home address or intimate images with someone you met here.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Call quality depends on your network and device, and we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss arising from another user's conduct or from your decision to meet or transact with someone offline.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the [6] months before the event, or [₹5,000], whichever is higher.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end your access for the reasons in the moderation section, or on 30 days' notice if we discontinue the service. Clauses on content licence, coins, liability and governing law survive.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go first to good-faith discussion, then to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated at Lucknow and conducted in English. Subject to that, the courts at Lucknow have exclusive jurisdiction.
We may update these terms, and will notify material changes in the app at least 7 days before they take effect. Questions: info@myfriendapp.live.
